Meet Your Menopause Specialist

I am a certified menopause specialist who ensures I offer the most current and caring care to women in their midlife. My practise in medicine has been in the form of private and GP clinics, urgent care, and hospital, where I have gained a general understanding of the state of the health of female individuals in their various stages. I regularly attend lectures and conferences to stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based care, which I can then offer to my patients.I have a strong commitment to changing the perception of midlife women’s health. Having witnessed the symptoms of thousands of women being ignored or not taken seriously, I founded MyMenopauseSupport.org so that women finally have a voice and that their voices are heard and respected. I am resolute to establish the cause of your symptoms and guarantee you permanent solution.

Best Nutritional Advice

Menopause introduces numerous changes in the way your body works and this influences your nutritional needs. Proper foods have the ability to control the symptoms, safeguard your health in the long run, and improve your wellbeing. Some of the most important nutrients have been discussed in detail below with an explanation of how you can incorporate them into your diet.

Calcium: Supporting Strong Bones

Calcium is vital for maintaining bone density, which declines during menopause due to lower oestrogen levels. This mineral helps prevent osteoporosis, a common concern for women in midlife.  Dairy products such as yoghurt and cheese, calcium-set tofu, leafy green vegetables such as kale and broccoli, sardines with bones, and almonds are good sources of calcium. Goal of taking 1000 to 1250 mg a day. In case you are not getting enough calcium through food, you may require supplements, talk to your GP about this. It is also important to restrict the salt and caffeine in the diet because it impairs the absorption of calcium.

Vitamin D: Strengthening Calcium Intake and Immunity

Vitamin D plays a key role in helping your body absorb calcium and supports your immune system. Vitamin D could be obtained through the assistance of reasonable amounts of sun exposure, fortified foods, oily fish (salmon and mackerel) and supplements.  It is recommended to take in 10 micrograms of it (10 µg) a day. It is recommended that you have your levels of vitamin D checked by your medical practitioner, particularly in those months where there is less sunlight.

Protein: Muscle and Metabolism Wellness

Protein intake is of significance to maintain muscle and help in the metabolic activities which may diminish with ageing. Some of the sources consist of lean meat, fish, eggs, beans such as lentils and chickpeas, tofu, nuts and seeds. During menopause, it is good to have a mixture of proteins throughout the day to maintain strong muscles and have a constant metabolism rate.

Fibre: Aiding Digestion and Heart Health

Good sources include whole grains such as brown rice and oats, a wide range of fruits and vegetables, and pulses including beans and lentils. Aim to consume at least 25 grams of fibre daily. Increasing your fibre intake gradually and drinking plenty of water helps avoid digestive discomfort.Phytotestrogens: Natural Symptom Relief.

Good Fats: Brain, Heart, and Hormone Support.

Healthy unsaturated fats are good in promoting the health of the brain, cardiovascular performance and in hormone synthesis. Have olive oil, avocado, nuts, seeds, and oily fish i.e. salmon and mackerel. Attempt to restrict the saturated and trans fats in fast foods and fatty meat products.

Complex Carbohydrates: Lasting Energy

Complex carbohydrates are associated with constant energy release and normalisation of blood sugar levels. A good choice is wholegrain bread and pasta, brown rice, and sweet potatoes. Refined carbohydrates should be avoided such as white bread and snacks rich in sugar to avoid dips and undesired weight gain.

Hydration: Essential for Wellbeing

Adequate hydration supports every bodily function and can help reduce symptom severity. Drink plenty of water, herbal teas, and milk. Aim for 1.5 to 2 litres of fluids daily. Minimise caffeine and alcohol consumption, as these can lead to dehydration.

Vitamins B 12 and Magnesium: Supporting Energy and Muscle.

These are also nutrients that are essential to support energy and good muscle activity. They are rich in meat, dairy, nuts, whole grains and leafy green vegetables. Supplements should be considered particularly when you are a vegetarian, vegan or are older as absorption may decrease.

Navigating perimenopause and menopause can feel isolating and confusing. Many women feel dismissed, rushed, or that their symptoms are not being taken seriously. We created My Menopause Clinic London to be the opposite of that experience. We provide a space where your health is the sole focus, combining world-class medical expertise with a deeply compassionate, “whole-you” approach.

Modern, Evidence-Based, and Safe Care
We do not guess. Our treatment plans are built on the gold-standard guidelines from NICE and the British Menopause Society. We specialise in prescribing modern, regulated body-identical HRT (rBHRT), which is derived from plants and has the same molecular structure as the hormones your body produces. We also provide a full range of non-hormonal options, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for menopause symptoms
A Premium, Integrated London Clinic
We offer in-person consultations at London’s most respected private healthcare facilities, including Nuffield Health Highgate. This provides you with a safe, professional, and discreet environment for your care. It also allows for seamless access to on-site advanced diagnostics, from comprehensive blood tests to DEXA bone density scans, all managed under one roof. For your convenience, we also offer virtual consultations across the UK.
A "Whole You" Approach, Not Just Symptoms
We don’t just “treat hot flushes.” We connect the dots. We understand that your new-onset anxiety, sleep disruption, joint pain, brain fog, and weight gain are all part of the same hormonal picture. Dr. Dudeja is also a SCOPE-certified weight management specialist, uniquely qualified to create an integrated plan that addresses your metabolic health alongside your hormonal health.
Genuinely Specialist-Led Care
Your health is not managed by a generalist, but by a leading expert. Your care is led directly by Dr. Sonia Dudeja, a GP with over 25 years of experience who has dedicated her practice to women’s midlife health. She is a British Menopause Society (BMS) Advanced Specialist and a US Menopause Society Certified Practitioner. This dual, advanced accreditation is a guarantee that your care is based on the latest, most rigorous international evidence.
Time to Listen, Time to Understand
The most powerful diagnostic tool is listening. We believe the most important part of your consultation is being heard. Our appointments are unhurried, comprehensive, and built on partnership. You will have the time to tell your full story, ask every question, and explore all your options without feeling rushed. You will leave feeling validated, understood, and in control of your health.
