I am a British Menopause Society-accredited Advanced Menopause Specialist, a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (USA), and a UK-based GP with over 25+ years of clinical experience. I focus on women’s midlife health, particularly perimenopause, menopause, and weight management.
My dual accreditation — in both the UK and the US — means I bring a truly global and up-to-date perspective to menopause care. My certification from the American Menopause Society equips me with insights into the latest international best practices, helping me to offer patients wider, evidence-led options and tailored management plans that go beyond a one-size-fits-all approach.
I also hold the DFSRH (Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare), which reflects my advanced training in contraception and sexual health. This enables me to confidently support women through the full hormonal spectrum, including offering coils (IUD/IUS) and contraceptive implant insertion and removal, as well as personalised guidance on contraceptive choices during perimenopause and beyond.
With an Asian background and international medical training, I’m sensitive to cultural and personal contexts, creating a safe space for women to speak openly about their health. Whether it’s about hormonal changes, low mood, sexual wellbeing, or weight concerns, I aim to provide non-judgemental, individualised support.
I also integrate complementary approaches such as Ayurveda, functional medicine, and lifestyle-based prevention, for patients interested in natural ways to manage menopause symptoms. I offer balanced guidance across all treatment options — whether conventional or alternative.
In addition, I am SCOPE Certified by the World Obesity Federation, with specialist training in managing menopausal weight gain. I help women approach weight management holistically and realistically, in tune with hormonal and metabolic changes.
My Philosophy & Approach
My approach is built on a foundation of listening. I believe that truly great medicine lies in treating the whole person, not just a set of symptoms. Your menopause journey is unique, and your care plan should be too. We will move beyond a one-size-fits-all approach to create a comprehensive strategy that integrates the best of modern medicine with a deep understanding of your individual lifestyle and health priorities.
I am committed to:
Shared Decision-Making: Empowering you with knowledge so you can make informed decisions about your health, whether it involves Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), non-hormonal options, or lifestyle strategies.
Evidence-Based Care: Utilizing the latest scientific research to provide the safest and most effective treatments available for your symptoms and long-term health.
A Holistic View: Recognizing the interconnectedness of your physical, emotional, and cognitive health to restore overall balance and wellbeing.
